Our country celebrates its heritage in the month of September. On Sunday the 24th of September, Hlengani Communications celebrated Heritage Day and witnessed thousands of South Africans dressed in their cultural attires, taking pride in the diversity of their cultures and traditions.
Heritage refers to property, culture or practices and traditions that are passed on from parents to children. It also has to do with what has been passed on from the family, community or the area that one resides in and overall, the national consciousness. Our heritage is our inheritance, it is a special possession that every individual hold and people should understand that diversity is essential as it presents a pool of knowledge and solutions.
Hlengani Communications motivates and inspires people to work collectively in organisations and let love lead.
In the month of September, Hlengani Communications was involved in several activities. On the 14th of September, our client De Beers donated R1.5 million rand to Nelson Mandela Children Hospital. HC was involved as organisers of media personalities. We made sure that different media personalities attended and that the event received coverage.
In the same month, we signed a new client called Mbali Industrial Solutions. Mbali Industrial Solutions is a construction and infrastructure company and we are very proud to welcome them on board. The company has grown significantly in the past few years and we are very excited to take them to the next level. 2’1
Xitsavi Group through its division, Xitsavi Health also launched its skin care range of products called Zuru.
Hlengani Communications assisted in the Public Relations and Marketing activities and the event was successful. HC took part in the planning of Zuru’s participation at the Baby Show and Meet Up at Kyalami Convention Center.
As a Public Relations & Communications agency, HC encourages all citizens to embrace diversity and to take pride in the different cultural mixes that are home to South Africa and Africa. People should practice ‘ubuntu’ and learn to love and live together as one, because together we can do more. Let’s learn to respect other people’s cultures and their ways of doing things.
Always remember that ‘umuntu ngumuntu ngabantu’, we cannot survive in isolation
